Using the service

You may use the builder to create website widgets and browse the gallery to find pets. Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate account information. Do not disrupt the service, bypass access restrictions, distribute malicious files, impersonate others, or use the service for unlawful activity.

Your artwork and public sharing

You keep the rights you have in your own artwork. Upload or share material only when you have the necessary rights and permissions. By saving or publishing a pet, you authorize us to store and process it to provide the service. Publishing also authorizes us to display that listing and provide its supported downloads to visitors.

Public artwork must not infringe others' copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights. Do not upload confidential information. You can unpublish or delete your listing, but that does not recall copies already downloaded or independently made remixes.

Built-in pets and commercial use

True Web Assets permits you to use the built-in pets provided by Embed Your Pet on personal and commercial websites, and to use supported downloads as desktop companions. You may customize them with the builder for those uses. This permission does not transfer ownership of the original artwork or grant rights to third-party brands. Do not claim you created the original built-in artwork.

Community uploads may carry different permissions. Check the creator's description and obtain permission for a use that is not clearly authorized. Availability in the gallery does not guarantee that an uploader owns all rights.

Remixing

Enabling remixing permits others to customize your pet in the builder and publish their version with credit through the service. Remixing permission does not transfer your ownership or automatically grant unrestricted resale rights. Disabling remixing stops new remixes through the service; it does not withdraw copies or permissions already used.

Installation and third-party products

You are responsible for installing and testing downloaded widgets on your website, respecting your hosting provider's requirements, and securing any endpoint you connect to the optional message API. Codex is an OpenAI product; Embed Your Pet is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.

Reports and moderation

We may restrict accounts or remove listings that violate these terms or put others at risk. To report rights infringement or abusive content, email [email protected] with the listing URL, the issue and information supporting your report.

Availability and responsibility

The service and downloads are provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with every website or app version, or that community artwork is free of third-party claims. Keep your own copies of important artwork and exports. Nothing in these terms limits rights or obligations that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
